Sepia Saturday

Sepia Saturday I've been MIA most of the year, but want to get back into it!

These are Christmas photos from the late 1970s to early 1980s. They are at my parents' house in Montreal.

These are the Coolbrook Christmases.

By then each of my aunts and uncle had their own Christmas dinner but they always congregated at my parents' house in the evening.

We were all grown up by then, but Mom would go overboard on the gifts, never expensive, and lots of homemade goodies.

  1. Thanks for the memories. Just a reminder of how much I do miss those Christmasses and mom and dad.

  2. Wonderful pictures with folks having a wonderful time obviously. And I even detected those tissue paper crowns from snappers in one of the pix! :)

  4. These are great photos. Almost like being there...so much like our Christmases in Winterpeg. Your mother's kitchen looks about the same size as ours was. How did they prepare everything in those small spaces? And somebody got a microwave oven...that was a good present, eh?
